Abbaye D'Aulne Christmas Beer is a Christmas Tripel ale, from Brasserie de L’Abbaye D’Aulne. Based in the Valley of Peace in the Belgian region of Wallonia, there has been an Abbey on the site of the current brewery since 657 AD, and the Cistercians of Aulne Abbey have been brewing their own beer since the Middle Ages.  Abbaye D'Aulne Christmas Beer pours a hazy orange colour and offers up a spicy aroma with hints of sweet malt. The first sip reveals sweet dried fruit, a soft spicy flavour and more fruit on the finish.
