This Wild Specialty Beer presents a sophisticated marriage of a robust dark ale base and the vibrant tang of macerated berries. Aged in oak barrels, it reveals a complex layering of woody tannins and vinous fruit character. The 7.6% ABV provides a sturdy backbone for the sharp, lactic acidity and the rustic funk typical of a mixed-fermentation process. Deeply hued with a crimson-to-purple shimmer, it balances the rich, toasty undertones of dark malts with a bone-dry, effervescent finish. The influence of the wood is integrated, offering structural depth rather than overt oakiness, while the berry profile remains the primary sensory driver.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark ruby with a distinctive purple tint from the berry addition; slightly hazy. The head is a pink-tinged tan with moderate persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh red and black berries, complemented by sharp lactic tartness and earthy wild yeast funk (leather, farmhouse). Subtle oak notes of vanilla and toasted wood merge with a faint cocoa malt background.
