This bright American Pale Ale radiates with a vibrant bouquet of Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hops. The aromatic profile is dominated by the distinctive passionfruit and citrus notes of Riwaka, complemented by the elegant white grape and crushed gooseberry character of Nelson Sauvin. Mosaic deepens the complexity with layers of blueberry and tropical mango. A lean, bready malt backbone provides a clean foundation, allowing the punchy hop flavors to shine without being overshadowed. It finishes crisp and refreshing with a balanced bitterness that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the sunny vibes intended by this collaborative effort.
Appearance. Pale golden (approximately 6 SRM) with a moderately large, frothy white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing. Generally clear with a brilliant shimmer.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring a complex array of tropical fruit, lime zest, and white grape. Low neutral, grainy maltiness with a hint of fresh bread. Clean fermentation profile with very subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Immediate burst of citrus and tropical fruit hop flavors. The Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin provide a sharp, tangy fruitiness, while Mosaic adds a berry-like sweetness. Bitterness is moderate to firm, balancing the light, bready malt. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering citrus zest aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, enhancing the hop aromatics. Smooth finish with no perceived alcohol warmth or harsh astringency.
