Visually dark and tranquil, it belies a chaotic intensity on the nose, where resinous and citrusy hops clash with tart lactic notes and a whisper of debittered chocolate malt. The palate experiences a cosmic balance: a vibrant acidity pierces through a medium body, followed by a surge of tropical hop character and a clean bitterness. Appearance. Deep ebony to black (SRM 35-40); opaque under a persistent, light tan head that leaves moderate lacing; tranquil and dark appearance.
