This vibrant West Coast IPA captures the essence of summer with a punchy, bold hop profile. Shimmering beams of clean, bready malt provide a supportive foundation for crashing waves of Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus, and Mosaic hops. The sensory experience is dominated by intense citrus zest, dank resinous pine, and tropical fruit undertones. It balances a firm, assertive bitterness with a crisp, dry finish, ensuring the palate remains refreshed. The interplay of classic piney notes with contemporary berry and stone fruit qualities creates a multidimensional profile that honors traditional American IPA roots while embracing a modern, bold intensity and clean fermentation character.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7–10 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, off-white head that demonstrates good persistence and leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and dank herbs, complemented by a tropical hint of mango and blueberry. Low, grainy-sweet malt provides a clean background with very low fermentation esters.
Taste. Leading with an assertive hop-forward impression, the palate delivers layers of citrus peel, resinous pine, and subtle tropical fruit. A low to medium-low grainy maltiness offers a light toasty support without being sweet. Bitterness is firm and clean, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a refreshing bite, while the 6% ABV contributes a very light, well-integrated warmth without any harshness or astringency.
