8 Wired Luppolo is a vibrant evolution of the German Pils, balancing European tradition with modern hop innovation. The clean, doughy base of Continental Pilsner malt provides a crisp canvas for a generous late-hopping regimen. Distinctive notes of citrus and punchy stone fruit emerge from the specific use of Perle, Callista, and Saphir, offering a fruit-forward complexity that transcends the classic herbal profile. It finishes bone-dry and refreshingly bitter, driven by high attenuation and a firm hop backbone. This lager remains elegantly light and effervescent, delivering a sophisticated sensory experience that is both intensely aromatic and classically quenching.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring bright lemon zest, apricot, and subtle herbal spice. Low grainy-sweet malt character with a hint of white cracker. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Brisk, dry initial impression. Soft, grainy malt flavor is quickly overtaken by punchy stone fruit and citrus hop flavors. Medium-high bitterness is firm but smooth, providing a clean, crisp finish. The aftertaste lingers with a floral, slightly minerally hop note and a touch of toasted cracker.
