Appearance. Light copper color (approximately 10-12 SRM) with brilliant clarity, showing only a minimal, natural haze from bottle conditioning. Topped by a moderate-sized, creamy, off-white head that demonstrates good persistence and leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high aroma of classic English hops, displaying distinct woody, earthy, and spicy Fuggles notes accompanied by the floral and mild lavender-like sweetness of Goldings. Underpinned by a moderate, warm, bready and biscuity malt profile with a touch of light caramel. Low fruity esters are detectable, offering a clean and traditional nose.
Taste. Begins with a supportive malt presence of fresh-baked bread, biscuit, and very soft caramel. This is immediately overtaken by medium-high herbal, floral, and earthy hop flavors.
