This Hazy IPA presents an expressive sensory profile characterized by a lush interplay of tropical and coniferous notes. On the palate, the beer is notably round and smooth, delivering a succulent initial wave of passion fruit that transitions into complex resin and herbal layers. A refreshing finish of grapefruit and lemon zest provides a clean exit, where the moderate bitterness recedes quickly to allow a persistent, zesty citrus aftertaste to linger on the tongue.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4–6 SRM) with a characteristic opaque, hazy shine. Pours with a thick, meringue-like white head that demonstrates high retention and leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent passion fruit, grapefruit, and lemon. This fruitiness is balanced by a distinct resinous and herbal hop character. The malt presence is low and neutral, offering a light grainy or bready background with no toasted or caramel notes.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with initial passion fruit and exotic tropical notes. Mid-palate introduces resinous and herbaceous qualities. Malt flavor is low, providing a soft, bready support. Perceived bitterness is moderate but smooth and non-lingering, finishing off-dry with a long-lasting grapefruit and lemon citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, round, and smooth texture on the palate. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no harshness or astringency.
