This American IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience characteristic of the West Coast style. The hop profile is driven by a trifecta of Galaxy, Eclipse, and Triumph, yielding a complex bouquet of sweet mandarin citrus, passionfruit, and succulent peach. A clean, crackery malt base provides a lean canvas for these intense tropical and stone fruit notes to shine, while a subtle thread of fresh pine adds depth. The experience concludes with a firm, assertive bitterness and a decisively dry, crisp finish that invites another sip, perfectly balancing the 7% ABV without overshadowing the hop-forward character of the featured varieties.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber with brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, medium-sized white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of passionfruit and mandarin oranges, layered with ripe peach and apricot. Low, clean, grainy malt supports the fruit, with a faint resinous pine background and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical and citrus fruit flavor including mandarin peel and stone fruit. Malt flavor is low and clean, like lightly toasted grain. Bitterness is firm and assertive. The finish is decisively dry and lingering with a hoppy, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harsh astringency.
