This American Stout delivers an assertive roasted profile defined by an explosion of dark chocolate and espresso coffee. Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 38). Pours with a thick, persistent, medium tan head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity roasted malt aroma with dominant notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans. Secondary notes of sweet caramel and a subtle nuttiness. Low resinous and citrusy hop character with light fruity esters.
