Robert the Bruce presents a commanding, well-rounded malty profile that defines this Scottish Ale. The sensory experience is led by rich layers of caramel and toffee, underscored by distinct roasted biscuit-like notes reminiscent of toasted breadcrumbs and graham crackers. Despite its robust 6.5% ABV, the fermentation remains exceptionally clean, allowing subtle pome fruit esters and a faint, earthy English hop presence to emerge. A gentle roasty dryness develops in the finish, providing a necessary counterpoint to the deep sugary qualities and ensuring the beer never feels cloying.
