Pilsner 4.6 º 26 IBU
This German Pils offers a refined and refreshing sensory experience, opening with a moderately high bouquet of floral and lightly spicy hop notes. A base of grainy, doughy Pilsner malt provides a delicate honeyed sweetness and a toasted cracker quality that balances the hop-forward profile. The beer presents a brilliant, pale gold appearance topped with a persistent, creamy white head. On the palate, a soft malt entry is quickly overtaken by a crisp, clean bitterness that leads into a dry, lingering finish. The impeccably clean fermentation profile allows the subtle minerality to shine, resulting in a sharp, thirst-quenching lager with high sessionability.
Appearance. Brilliant and very clear, pale gold color (approximately 3–4 SRM) with a dense, creamy, and long-lasting white head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to moderately high intensity, featuring distinct flowery and spicy hop aromas. Supporting malt character is low to medium, reminiscent of fresh grain, dough, and a light honeyed cracker. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light grainy malt flavor is rapidly superseded by a firm hop bitterness and flowery, herbal hop notes. The balance is decidedly bitter and crisp, though a touch of malt sweetness remains in the background. Finishes dry and clean with a lingering hop bitterness and a subtle minerally snap.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, lively texture. High carbonation provides a scrubbing effect on the tongue. Smooth and refreshing without any alcoholic warmth or harshness.
