Emelisse brewery has earned quite a reputation for producing high quality beer in large quantities. It has spread out its delivery network all over Europe and the USA. Despite brewing beer in such large amounts, it has stuck to its policy of producing only the best beers, winning many awards and accolades in the process.
Lente-Bock is a fine example of what Emelisse can brew. This beer has a golden robe, topped by an off-white foamy head. The crown dispels slowly. The aroma is laced with citrus, caramel and malt. You will get some floral notes in it as well. For the taste, the floral and lemony touches are very much present. This beer is a mixture of moderate bitterness and sweetness. The aftertaste is bitter, but mild. There is a nice malty finish, coupled with some herbal touches. This beer is medium bodied and has a soft carbonation.
