Cest à partir de ce jour que la « Victory Ale » laissa place à Duvel.
La Duvel possède une belle robe blonde dorée surmontée d'un épais col de mousse crémeux.Au nez, elle possède un riche bouquet aromatique composé d'arômes épicés, houblonnés, de fruits, de fleurs, de levure auxquels s'ajoutent des notes d'agrumes. En bouche, elle est ronde et généreuse, on retrouve en bouche l'ensemble des saveurs préalablement ressenties. Ces dernières permettent de camoufler le fort taux d'alcool de cette bière.
