Brewed with three times the amount of malt as a standard Belgian table beer, a tripel is a full-bodied strong ale that balances the sweetness from the malt with pronounced hop bitterness. Braven Apostle Tripel is an archetypical Belgian tripel with the addition of coriander and orange for a spicy, zesty character. Pouring a golden colour, Braven Apostel Tripel offers up aromas of caramel, coriander and orange. The flavour is sweet and bready, with a subtle bitterness and a warming sensation from the alcohol. At 8% ABV, Braven Apostel Tripel is a spiced, warming beer, ideal for cold winter nights relaxing by the fire.
