Damm Master Brewers and the gluten department of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) gave great news to the world. Together they developed one of the first crafted to remove gluten beer.

ENZYMATIC​ HYDROLYSATION PROCESS
Gluten is a protein. During the manufacturing phase the chain of gluten is broken through a process of enzymatic hydrolysation and protein precipitation, obtaining a final product that is suitable for coeliacs.​

Daura maintains the flavor of real beers as it is made with the same main ingredient: barley malt.

Our guarantee less than 3ppm: each batch is analyzed and certified by the CSIC using the R5 Competitive ELISA test before hitting the market. This way, we ensure that its gluten content is always below 3ppm*.

Estrella Damm is the predominant brewery in Catalunya. Daura is the gluten free version of Estrella Damm. This golden lager style beer is crisp and refreshing. It currently holds the title of "best gluten free beer in the world. They use a special technique developed to remove the gluten and there is less than 3 ppm in the beer, which makes it safe for people with Celiac disease to drink. 5.4% ABV
