Description

Qantelaar is an unfiltered high fermentation beer with flavor and bottle fermentation. It is a dark brown beer with soft ruby-red shine. It has a rich aroma of drip, licorice, dried fruit and caramel. Taste palette and body are complex with keys of roasted malt, caramel, dried fruit, drip, chocolate and subtle hop bitterness. Together with the creamy texture and the long light-sweet and roasted finish, this beer makes for a unique experience.
Qantelaar is an artisan brewed beer that meets the Reinheitsbot with the exception of some candy sugar. It does not contain any herb, spice or chemical additive. The recipe for this beer has come from a well-considered selection of five malt species and two Belgian hop varieties.
