A.K.A. Russian Imperial Stout, es un tipo de cerveza Ale cuyo origen se remonta al siglo XVIII en Inglaterra. Es una variante del estilo Stout que se caracteriza por tener una mayor cantidad de alcohol y una mayor concentración de lúpulo, preparada para ser exportada a Rusia y los países bálticos.

Troubadour Imperial Stout

Stout con 4 tipos diferentes de malta, cebada tostada y 2 tipos de lúpulo.

Color casi negro y presenta una espuma estable y duradera beige. Aroma seco, tostado, nuez y humo.

Sabor a café fuerte tostado y malta. La fuerte impresión de chocolate deja paso a un agradable final amargo.

In the last ‘’Meneer de Uil’’ (Mister Owl) series we aged our imperial/double stout in Ledaig Whisky Casks. Massive bodied imperial stout with a very intense aromas such as chocolate, coffee, roasted grains, peat smoke, vanilla, oak and intense peaty Ledaig flavours and aromas.

We created this barrel aged peaty monster a few times now and we’ll keep doing it until we can not get any more casks from this awesome Isle of Mull distiller!
