Es una cerveza clara, dorada, transparente, cristalina, ligera, fresca, suave, menos lupulada que las Pilsen pero con cuerpo, resultando muy refrescante. Tiene una espuma abundante, cremosa, que deja marcas y un aroma franco, con una sutil mezcla entre malta, levaduras y lúpulos, resultando en éste sentido muy equilibrada. En boca es fresca, ligera, suave, con alguna nota de cereal en el inicio.

It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. Erdinger Weissbier no es sólo el clásico indiscutible en la gama de productos Erdinger, también es, sencillamente, la cerveza de trigo por excelencia. Se elabora utilizando la levadura según una receta tradicional y, por supuesto, en estricta conformidad con la Ley de pureza bávara. Incluso hoy en día, la cerveza sigue siendo fermentada en botella en la forma tradicional; se tarda de tres a cuatro semanas para que Erdinger Weissbier madure.
