Port royal is a classic double IPA characterized by a hazy, juicy, and strong, foggy texture, typical of the New England style. Classic and new wave hops were used in the brewing process, including Galaxy hops from the Antipodes and Mosaic hops from the USA. In the aroma, there is a light hint of petrol, grapes, and a rich variety of tropical fruits. The whole is finished with a subtle hint of cold-brewed bourbon vanilla, which gives the beer a unique depth of flavor.
