Black DIPA
This dark version of a heavily hopped IPA is characterized by a distinct hop bitterness. The original idea behind Black IPA was to create a beer with a dark color, but with a taste resembling a regular IPA. In the case of this double version, known as Double India Pale Ale, Simcoe and Idaho 7 hops were used, heavily hopped during the cold process.
