De Ranke XX Bitter is a very weighty beer, aggressively brewed to be the hoppiest in Belgium. Not for those with more delicate palates! This doubly extra bitter beer is strong and well, bitter, as the name promises. It is made with pale pilsner malt and gets a lot of its punch from a great deal of hops, in particular brewers gold and hallertau hops. Don’t be afraid of the bitter style. This beer goes exceptionally well with food, and while this is an acquired taste, it quickly becomes addictive!
