Situado en el corazón de las Ardenas verdes, nuestra Brasserie se especializa en la elaboración de la cerveza cervezas especiales de calidad.
Nuestra historia comienza a finales de los años setenta cuando dos hermanos Pedro y Chris Gobron Bauweraerts, decidieron crear su propia cerveza y que, en su propia fábrica de cerveza.
Con el poco dinero que tienen en el momento (200.000BEF, menos de 5.000 €), se inicia lo que los fans de la cervecería llaman una "historia Chouffe".
Inicialmente considerado como un hobby, la Cervecería Achouffe experimenta un gran desarrollo cuando Peter y Chris deciden realizar una cerveza tras otra a tiempo completo. La primera cerveza de LA Chouffe (49 litros) se produjo 27 de agosto 1982.
Los elfos de Achouffe rápidamente descubren otros países, y sus primos holandeses fueron los primeros en reservarles una cálida bienvenida. Hoy en día, más de 40 países de todo el mundo se suministran con cerveza Achouffe.
Premios internacionales altamente codiciados también llegarón año tras año, para coronar su sabor único.
Al final del verano de 2006, los fundadores de la Cervecería optaron por confiar el destino de sus queridos elfos a la Duvel Moortgat Brewery. La buena voluntad del grupo es invertir en Achouffe y desarrollar el potencial de la Cervecería.
Desde entonces, se han realizado numerosos estudios para embellecer la cervecería y sus alrededores, y nuestras cervezas han sido capaces de encontrar nuevos destinos en todo el mundo.
