Badlands Brewing Company Frozen Pipes

Named after... well... the pipes freezing. Since we opened there has been at least one instance every winter where a pipe to or from one of our buildings freezes. Traditionally, this happens in February and then we name the next one-off beer we have in the queue Frozen Pipes.

History suggests that this year will be no different and one of our pipes will inevitably freeze. As such, we decided to get ahead of it and make a permanent label for this most frustratingly predictable happening that is semi-preventable, but somehow keeps happening.

This year it actually happened in December! It was the water line to the food truck. Whoops!

Hopped with Mosaic, Cashmere, and El Dorado we taste a mix of citrus, apricot, sweet berries and grapefruit.
