A German Festbier, brewed in the style of a Märzen!

For the third round of Braufrisch we have teamed up with beer writer Christian Andersen & Master Brewer Jens Eiken, authors of the book "Den Nøgne Øl" - to create a Festbier - our collaborative take on a classic German Lager for the Oktoberfest - in the style of a Märzen.

Brewed with Bavarian Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts, to give a robust, bready malt character with delicate notes of freshly baked bread crust, honey and a rustic malt aroma, like smelling fresh malt straight out of the bag.

We've hopped it with Perle, Hersbrucker to get that classic spicy, black pepper and woody notes along with a touch of floral and citrusy qualities from a touch of Saphir.
