Но почему именно Августинер называют душой Мюнхена? Во-первых, это старейшая пивоварня города, где пиво варят с 1328 года. Первоначально варили монахи-августинцы, откуда и пошло название.
Во-вторых, Августинер действительно варят традиционным способом. Ячмень только местный, солод готовят сами, по старинке, так называемым токовым солодоращением. Токовое – это означает, что в подвалах пивоварни замоченное предварительно отборное ячменное зерно рассыпается тонким слоем для проращивания. Рассыпается не на бетонный пол или еще куда, а на плиты из особого зольнхофенского мрамора. Обычно его используют как отделочный материал для эксклюзивных безделушек с правильными ценами. На току зерно регулярно разрыхляется, вручную, разумеется. На современных пивоварнях этот процесс повсеместно механизирован, там солод проращивают в больших вращающихся металлических барабанах. Скучно, практично и дешево.
Сваренное пиво разливают в настоящие дубовые бочки. Так делает только Августинер, все остальные мюнхенские пивоварни давно льют свою продукцию в алюминиевые кеги. Ну и последнее, Августинер - это последняя в Мюнхене пивоварня, которая не «продалась» иностранным холдингам. Есть еще правда Хофбройхаус, но он принадлежит государству, за ним все ресурсы Германии. vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage und Ihr Interesse an unseren Produkten.
Da wir eine Regionalbrauerei sind, haben wir unser Liefergebiet bis auf wenige Ausnahmen auf den bayerischen Raum beschränkt.
Eine einwandfreie Qualität unserer Biere ist für uns oberstes Gebot. Qualitätsverluste aufgrund langer Transportwege möchten wir daher auf jeden Fall vermeiden.
Da wir unsere Biere nicht durch Pasteurisierung haltbar machen, sind diese aufgrund der relativ kurzen Haltbarkeit auch nicht für lange Lagerungen geeignet.
Wir bedauern, Ihnen mitteilen zu müssen, dass es aus o.g. Gründen unser Bier in Russland nicht zu kaufen gibt.

1n 1328, the Augustinian monks began brewing beer in their Augustinian monastery near the Cathedral of Munich. For almost 500 years the monks kept brewing their beer right in the Augustinian monastery – selling it in their ever so popular “Klosterschenke” (monastery tavern). The monastery’s own brewery was privatized and, in 1817, moved to nearby Neuhauser Strasse due to disrepair of the monastery.
Brewer Anton Wagner, hailing from Freising, acquired the business in 1829 and since then it has been operated as a privately owned brewery. Later on, his son Josef Wagner built a new modern structure on Landsberger Strasse, at the time on the outskirts of the city, where the brewery moved to in 1885. This is the place we brew to date. At the core of our beers is our excellent brewing water, which we acquire from our own well reaching a depth of 230 meters.
We produce malt of outstanding quality on the brewery premises in large rooms 40 meters long and 10 meters wide, with a particular limestone floor, we lay out a rather thin layer of barley and let it germinate, all the while turning it every eight hours. Our floor malting method has been handed down for generations and, although it needs a lot of room and time, it gives the malt the right space to “breathe” – and that you can most definitely taste!
