En este caso nos topamos con la Augustijn Blonde, fina y afrutada, delicia para el día a día. Notas de Cata
Vista: Color rubio ambarino, ligeramente turbio, coronada por una abundante capa de persistente espuma.
Olfato: Aromas finos a maltas pálidas y levadura, con toques frutales y lupulados.
Gusto: Sabor suave y pleno, también malteado y lupulado, con un ligero toque de vainilla.
Van Steenberge Creada en el año 1784 en Ertvelde, un pequeño pueblo histórico de Flandes, es actualmente una de los productores belgas más representativos y extendidos internacionalmente. Siguiendo la tradición cervecera belga, Van Steenberge ha ido recorriendo los diferentes escalafones del organigrama familiar. Fundada por un obrero belga bajo el nombre “De Peer”, fue dirigida por su mujer (hecho destacable si tenemos en cuenta el contexto histórico) durante varios años con la ayuda de un familiar cercano. Al tiempo, este familiar la heredó y sería el marido de su hija, Paul Van Steenberge (reputado profesor de microbiología en el colegio de cerveceros de Gante) quién le otorgó el nombre que ahora ostenta. Posee marcas de gran reputación, como Gulden Draak, Piraat o Augustijn, siendo su punto fuerte las cervezas oscuras y de alta graduación alcohólica.

Augustinj Blond Triple, es una cerveza de alta fermentación, refermentada en botella, elaborada en Bélgica, en la provincia de Brabante Flamenco, en la región de Pojottenland.

Elaborada con malta de cebada, malta caramelizada, lúpulos Saaz y Hallertau y tres levaduras diferentes para dejar los minimos restos dulzones de las maltas.

Su color es Oro viejo, con reflejos dorados, de aroma complejamente afrutado, con notas de malta tostada, nostas cítricas y final seco y especiado.

Su sabor comienza con un cuerpo medio a denso, con equilibrio entre la dulzura maltera y la amargura de los lúpulos.

La fábrica que produce la Augustinj Donker tiene una larga historia que se remonta a 1886, cuando fué fundada por la familia Augustinj en la localidad de Lennik.

The historic yeast strains give Augustijn monastery beer its mild, smooth, but very rich flavour. A beer for any occasion that excels when savoured in a relaxed atmosphere. Brewed since 1978 by Van Steenberge for the Augustinian monastery at Stephen's Church in Ghent using the original yeast culture. Sold outside of Belgium as St Stefanus, after the church, to differentiate it from beers that may be made by other Augustinian communities. The monastery receives money from each sale. Partially filtered after primary fermentation, then cool matured for four weeks. Filtered and then reseeded with Brett and another yeast, and warm conditioned for two weeks. Bottled and stored for a minimum three months before distribution.
