Straffe Hendrik Brugs Tripel Bier 9°

Straffe Hendrik is a Bitter Tripel Ale of 9% abv. The beer was originally from Bruges and brewed in Bruges by brewery De Halve Maan.

In 1981, Henri Maes and his daughter Véronique followed the demand of the mayor and created a strong blond beer for the inauguration of the statue of Sint-Arnoldus, the saint of all beer-brewers. However, the beer became so popular, that the demand for the beer continued. It was given the name of Straffe Hendrik (Strong Hendrick), since it was a rich and strong beer.

Today, Straffe Hendrik is the last authentic Tripel Ale of Bruges.

Straffe Hendrik Tripel es una cerveza triple dorada con una firme corona de espuma blanca. El aroma es especiado, con notas de pimienta negra, coriandro y gengibre, incluso se insinúan naranjas.

Esta cerveza está intensamente lupulada con Saaz y Styrian Golding de superior calidad, contiene una sutil mezcla de seis maltas especiales obteniendo así un sabor espectacularmente balanceado y potente.

El paladar se inicia con una nota de caramelo, tornando pronto hacia un leve amargor. En el final se descubre una sutil nota de banana, en combinación con la prominente presencia de cítricos.

Esta triple con un contenido alcohólico del 9%, gracias a la fermentación en botella logra una larga durabilidad.

Los platos de pescado especiados tienen un espectacular maridaje con esta cerveza. Straffe Hendrik también se adapta muy bien a los quesos como el Camembert o Brugge Blomme. Una combinación con postres de frutas a base de ananá y mango también es muy sugerente.

Girardin Gueuze 1882 Black Label

Girardin Geuze 1882 White Label is a spontaneous fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, brewed at farmhouse brewery Girardin. The difference with the regular gueuze (black label) is that this beer is filtered and pasteurized before being bottled. This results in a very clear gueuze with an alcohol content of 5.0%.

Girardin Gueuze es una extraordinaria cerveza Lambic. De un color dorado ambarino y con poca espuma. De olor agrio y frutal, esta deliciosa lambic equilibra bien el sabor agrio y no llega a ser demasiado amarga, tiene un ligero toque dulce y una moderada carbonación.
