Esta Porter inspirada en una receta londinense de 1750, obtuvo el premio CAMRA en 1997 a la mejor cerveza de invierno, en 1999 fue medalla de bronce en el Peterborough Festival, en 2003 campeón nacional de cervezas de invierno.

Es de color muy oscuro, que recuerda al café solo. El aroma es fuerte, con notas de tueste y sensaciones de grano quemado y algo de ahumados. la espuma correcta, con buena formación y permanencia, sin ser demasiado compacta. Es compleja, con pronta sensación de tuestes y un comienzo timidamente dulzón, de caramelo, que pronto da paso a notas de chocolate. el cuerpo no es demasiado notable. Acabado algo ahumado, con notas de malta torrefacta y un gustillo amargo.
