As in each and every IPA, in this one too, great American hops play the leading role by bringing aromas of resin, pine, citrus and herbs that are subtly complemented with a hint of chocolate stemming from the dark malts. It’s dry with solid but unimposing bitterness. Our goal here was to brew a hop-forwarded IPA without ashy and burnt tones. We wanted this beer to remain IPA with just being…black. Check it out if we succeeded.
