This is a kettle sour beer that is mostly light in flavour but dark in colour through the addition of a small amount of dark malt. It is flavoured with black currants, to add to the black colour and pastry-fied with lactose and vanilla.

Dal colore scuro con riflessi viola intenso e schiuma rosa, il colore viene conferito sia dal ribes nero che dall'utilizzo di malto scuro, Black Pastry Sour è elegante e pungente. Al naso ed al palato i sentori vengono rapiti da ricche ed intese note acidule e fruttate di ribes, lampone e limone il tutto ingentilito da sentori più dolci di crema pasticcera e vaniglia. La bevuta è aspra ma ben equilibrata da sfumature di vaniglia e effluvi di malto tostato che mitigano il carattere pungente e "funk" tipico di questo stile.
