La F.E.S. è la prima Stout che Peter Scholey della Ridgeway decide di produrre tutto l'anno. Si tratta di una Stout potente, da 8,0 % di alcolicità. Di colore ovviamente nero impenetrabile, presenta un cappello compatto color nocciola, i profumi sono intensi con note tostate di cioccolato, caffè e liquirizia. Aromi che ritroviamo al palato, con la particolarità di una forte carica di liquirizia, rispetto alle note tradizionali di caffè delle Stout inglesi. Il finale è amarognolo, che viene però quasi totalmente stemperato dalla morbidezza del corpo. E' di struttura complessa, molto persistente e di sicuro impatto.
