Cuando estuvimos en Yakima en septiembre para la selección de lúpulos tuvimos el privilegio de ser recibidos por la familia Riel en Double R Hop Ranches devolviendo las gentilezas de su visita en Sant Andreu el año pasado. Queda claro el motivo de la calidad de sus lúpulos teniendo en cuenta los standars que utilizan a la hora de la cosecha y proceso de sus lúpulos. Para ZIPLOCKED ’23 nos mantuvimos fieles a la receta de 2022 y dejamos que los lúpulos brillen por si mismos. Exigimos al limite nuestro Mash tun con cantidades peligrosas de trigo y avena en copos para lograr una base cremosa y sedosa. Sobre esto, le agregamos cantidades astronomicas de citra en el whirlpool y luego tiramos nuestras reglas en las IPAS por la ventana para agregarle cantidades monstruosas de este fabuloso lúpulo en el Dry-hop. Preparate para un gran zumo de cítricos con notas a maracuyá, pomelo rosado, marihuana y frutas de hueso. Esto es puro zumo

We are very fortunate to be able to brew Ziplocked ’23. A select lot of Double R Ranches Citra has been shipped to us especially for this beer. While over in Yakima at hop selection in September we had the privilege of being hosted by the Riel family of Double R Ranches as they returned the favour from their trip to Garage last year. It’s no wonder their hops are so good considering the standards that they work to in harvesting and processing thier hops. We have stayed true to last years recipe and just let the hops do the talking. Pushing our mash tun to the limit using dangerous amounts of flaked wheat and oats to conjure up a creamy, silky base beer. On top of this we have layered loads of Citra in the WP and then pushed our IPA rules out the window to dry hop this with monstrous amounts of this great hop. Expect huge citrus bouquet complimented by some passion fruit, pink grapefruit, marijuana and stone fruit notes. This is Juice. Ver menos
