On the palate, a clean, refreshing lactic sourness dominates, bolstered by a subtle doughy wheat malt backbone. Appearance. Bright gold (approx 5-7 SRM). Small white head with poor retention that disappears quickly. Clarity is clear to very slightly hazy.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by fresh honeydew melon and a sharp, clean lactic sourness. Hints of citric acidity and a very low, bready wheat malt character are present. No hop aroma or esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean lactic sourness blended with bright citric acidity. High intensity of juicy honeydew melon flavor persists throughout. A low, doughy wheat malt flavor provides a brief support before a very dry, refreshing, and tart finish. Hop bitterness is undetectable.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, feeling slightly fuller than a traditional low-ABV version. Moderate to high carbonation. Crisp acidity with no astringency or noticeable alcohol warmth.
