This alcohol-free Hazy IPA captures the essence of a sun-drenched orchard through a vibrant hop profile. Utilizing the experimental Peacharine hop, it leads with luscious notes of ripe peach, nectarine, and bright citrus. The addition of Strata hops complicates the bouquet with playful aromas of strawberry, tropical passion fruit, and a nostalgic jelly baby sweetness. Despite its low alcohol content, the beer maintains the characteristic depth of a traditional New England brew, offering a hazy, unfiltered appearance and a soft, fruit-forward palate. It concludes with a clean, approachable finish that emphasizes hop aromatics over lingering bitterness.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-5 SRM). Thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing. Hazy and opaque with a characteristic matte shine; unfiltered with fine sediment possible if not poured gently.
Aroma. High intensity of stone fruit and tropical character. Distinctive aromas of ripe peach, nectarine, and zesty citrus from Peacharine hops are complemented by Strata’s unique strawberry, passion fruit, and candy-like jelly baby notes. Low grainy and bready malt in the background; clean fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring prominent peach, strawberry, and nectarine. The malt provides a supportive, lightly bready and grainy foundation. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, allowing the hop oils to dominate without any harshness. The finish is soft and off-dry with a lingering tropical aftertaste of passion fruit and citrus.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a surprisingly soft and smooth texture for a de-alcoholised beer. Medium carbonation. Absolutely no alcohol warmth; lacks any astringency or harshness, maintaining a round and approachable mouthfeel.
