This Double IPA is an ultra-saturated sensory experience, defined by a staggering 48.5g/L dry-hop load. The use of thiol-releasing yeast unlocks intense tropical layers of passion fruit and guava, complementing the heavy hitters of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe Cryo. Expect a massive aromatic punch of crushed gooseberry, white grape, and bright grapefruit pith. While the malt provides a lean, neutral canvas, the hop oils dominate, delivering resinous pine and citrus bite that leads to a sharp, lingering bitterness. A touch of hop burn reflects its fresh, lupulin-dense character, finishing dry and assertive.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (8-10 SRM) with a significant haze due to extreme dry-hopping. Features a large, persistent white head with dense, sticky lacing.

Aroma. Intense, pungent hop aroma featuring overwhelming notes of passion fruit, gooseberry, and Sauvignon Blanc grape from the Nelson Sauvin and thiol yeast. Supporting layers include Citra-driven grapefruit and Simcoe resin. Malt is very low, appearing as a faint cracker-like backdrop.

Taste. High hop flavor follows the aroma with aggressive citrus zest, tropical fruit, and dank pine. Bitterness is very high and firm, balanced by a minimal, clean malt profile. The finish is very dry and resinous, with a notable, prickly hop-derived astringency and a clean, lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Carbonation is moderate-high. Notable alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, accompanied by a distinct, fresh hop-derived burn on the swallow.
