Humleprofilen er intet mindre end overdådig: Citra, Citra Incognito, Galaxy, Idaho 7, Strata og Zappa giver en eksplosion af tropisk frugt, citrus, harpiks og florale noter. Det er juicy, smooth og intenst aromatisk – præcis som du forventer af fire masters of haze i fælles tropisk mission.

A Double New England IPA (DNEIPA) a komló aromáját és ízét hangsúlyozza a keserűség háttérbe szorításával.
A késői és/vagy hidegkomlózási technikákra támaszkodik, hogy kirobbanóan lédús, trópusi gyümölcsös íz- és illatélményt nyújtson. Színe általában baracklére emlékeztet. A technika és az alapanyagválasztás ügyes egyensúlya, amely gyakran búzát vagy zabot is tartalmaz, csábító ködösséget kölcsönözve az amerikai IPA e népszerű változatának.
A „double” az alapstílushoz képesti magasabb szárazanyag tartalomra, ezáltal magasabb alkoholfokra és ehhez passzoló nagobb mennyiségű komlófelhasználásra utal.
