Al parecer, la fruta favorita de nuestro sabio barquero son las cerezas. Naturalmente, tuvimos que crear una Imperial Stout con un toque de cereza ácida, una cerveza que imaginamos que disfrutaría con gusto a su lado al timón.
Inspirados por nuestros amigos de The Kernel y su maravillosa Export Stout Sour Cherry, hemos creado nuestra propia y exquisita versión del estilo. Añadimos un puré de cereza ácida a nuestra cerveza base, la del barquero, dando como resultado nuestra exquisita DON’T FEAR THE CHERRYMAN. Las deliciosas notas de cereza ácida contrastan con el intenso sabor a malta, ¡convirtiéndola en una auténtica tarta Selva Negra en formato líquido!

Normaal gesproken experimenteren we niet met fruittoevoegingen in onze bieren, maar het gesprek met Henok, de oprichter van Omnipollo, over hoe zij fruit gebruiken om de smaak te versterken, was enorm inspirerend. Na een paar verschillende purees te hebben getest, waren we het er allemaal over eens dat passievrucht de perfecte match was. Het snijdt door de alcoholische tonen heen en versterkt tegelijkertijd de tropische aroma's van de hop.
