NEIPA - New England IPA 6 º

Turning Point Brew Co.

This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant, juice-forward profile driven by a trio of expressive hops. Nectaron leads with intense aromas of ripe peach and pineapple, while Amarillo adds layers of bright orange zest and floral undertones. Underpinning the tropical intensity, Simcoe provides a grounding touch of earthy passionfruit and subtle pine. The addition of wheat and oats creates a velvety, opaque appearance and a remarkably soft, pillowy texture. Despite the massive hop saturation, the bitterness remains restrained, allowing a clean, bready malt backbone to support a lush, fruity finish that lingers with notes of stone fruit and citrus.

Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4–6 SRM) with a pronounced, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Supports a thick, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit (nectarine, peach) from Nectaron and sweet citrus from Amarillo. Simcoe adds complexity with passionfruit and a faint resinous pine. Low bready and grainy malt presence; clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. Explosive tropical and stone fruit flavors featuring bold pineapple, peach, and citrus. Malt flavor is low, providing a neutral, bready base. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, never sharp or harsh. The finish is medium and smooth, showcasing a juicy aftertaste of mixed tropical fruits.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a characteristically soft, creamy, and pillowy texture derived from oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate. Absence of astringency or alcohol harshness makes for an exceptionally smooth experience.
