Due to the overwhelming success of this beer, the monks decided around 1960 to brew it on a regular basis. Sometimes this beer is also referred to as the “Special”.

The Trappist-Rochefort 8 starts with a density of 20.80° Plato which produces a 9.2% vol. alcohol. Vigorous in character, it is particularly well suited to be drunk amongst a group of friends!
