Track Brewing Company Barrel Aged Black Is Beautiful

Almost two years in beautiful dark rum barrels has given this sumptuous imperial stout layers of sticky Medjool dates, sweet molasses and miso caramel.

A healthy dose of freshly roasted espresso coffee beans melds with the mellow, aromatic notes of vanilla and spiced demerara sugar, and leads to a lingering, boozy crème brulée finish. 

Back in 2020, an initiative was set up by Weathered Souls to brew a beer to help raise awareness of the injustices faced by people of colour on a daily basis. It was a global movement with over 1000 breweries from 22 different countries taking part. Track was honoured to be one of those breweries.

The beer came out so good, they thought they'd tuck some of it away into fresh Appleton Rum Barrels and see what happened. Well... It's time for it to emerge, and it is tasting ridiculously good.
