Alone is a vibrant Hazy IPA showcasing the intensive tropical character of 100% Galaxy hops. This summer crusher opens with an explosion of fresh-cut pineapple and ripe papaya, supported by the zesty bite of fleshy grapefruit and a subtle, resinous dankness. The Veil’s signature approach creates a velvety, lush texture that carries these bold fruit notes across the palate with minimal bitterness. A clean, bready malt backbone provides a soft foundation, allowing the southern hemisphere hop profile to shine. It concludes with a smooth, juicy finish that invites another sip, perfectly balancing tropical intensity with high drinkability.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (SRM 3-5). Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine. Pours with a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head featuring excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical notes of pineapple, papaya, and pithy grapefruit. Clean, bready, and grainy malt provides a subtle background support. Very low neutral fermentation esters with a hint of resinous dankness.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of fresh pineapple and citrus. Low to medium-low bitterness that is soft and never harsh. Malt is low and bready, supporting an off-dry, juicy finish. Aftertaste is clean with lingering tropical fruit notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, velvety body with a lush, rounded texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate with no astringency or hop burn. Very light alcohol warmth.
