This Belgian Golden Strong Ale presents a deceptive elegance, pouring a brilliant straw yellow with a towering, rocky white head. The sensory journey begins with a complex bouquet of pear-like esters and floral, herbal hops, underscored by a soft, peppery phenol character. While the initial sip suggests a faint hint of Pilsner malt sweetness, it is rapidly overtaken by a bone-dry finish as the brewer's use of sugar drives high attenuation. The high carbonation creates a silky, effervescent mouthfeel that masks the substantial 8.5% ABV, leaving behind a lingering, spicy warmth and a clean, crisp bitterness that defines this seductive, highly attenuated ale.

Appearance. 3–5 SRM. Brilliant straw yellow to pale gold. Features a massive, long-lasting, rocky white head with characteristic Belgian lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex bouquet of pear and apple esters. Moderate herbal and floral hop notes are present, complemented by peppery, perfumy alcohol and phenols over a neutral, slightly grainy-sweet malt base.

Taste. Initial impression of light malt sweetness quickly yields to a bone-dry finish. Flavors of pear-like fruitiness and peppery spice dominate, supported by herbal hop notes. Bitterness is medium-high and accentuated by the dry attenuation and high carbonation, leading to a long, crisp aftertaste.
