Daisy is a vibrant, modern American Pale Ale that showcases a lush, tropical sensory profile. The experience is defined by a dense, hazy presentation and a saturated aromatic explosion of mango, passionfruit, and citrus zest, driven by a deliberate blend of Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic hops. A clean, neutral malt backbone provides a supportive bready foundation, allowing the intense hop-derived fruitiness to lead without obstruction. It remains exceptionally balanced and drinkable, offering a smooth, approachable bitterness that yields to a crisp, refreshing finish. This beer successfully captures the essence of a 'tropical explosion' while maintaining the classic structural integrity of its style.
Appearance. Pale golden to light amber (approx. 5–7 SRM). Large, creamy white head with excellent retention and lacing. Distinctive hazy to opaque clarity, reflecting a modern unfiltered presentation.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), stone fruit (peach), and bright citrus (grapefruit). Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral base. Fermentation is clean with minimal yeast esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and citrus fruit flavors mirroring the aroma. A soft, bready malt character emerges mid-palate to provide balance. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, never harsh. The finish is medium-dry and clean, featuring a lingering citrus and melon hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a noticeably soft, smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate to high. Alcohol warmth is negligible given the 4.8% ABV, contributing to a high level of drinkability without astringency.
