This collaboration Double IPA presents an intense sensory journey led by a massive dry-hop profile. Citra cryo delivers concentrated bursts of zesty lime and grapefruit, while Nelson Sauvin introduces a sophisticated layer of white wine and crushed gooseberries. The addition of Kohatu rounds out the bouquet with lush tropical fruit notes. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer prioritizes a "smoother than velvet" texture over sharp bitterness. The malt backbone remains clean and unobtrusive, allowing the New World hop trio to shine against a soft, supportive grain bill. It finishes with a lingering tropical resonance and a well-integrated, gentle warmth.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing. Clarity is mostly clear but shows a slight contemporary haze.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by gooseberry, passion fruit, and mango. Sharp citrus notes of lime and grapefruit zest from the cryo hops are prominent. Malt is low, neutral, and grainy. Clean fermentation with minimal esters.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of tropical fruit, white grape, and citrus oil. Bitterness is moderately high but exceptionally smooth, lacking any harsh edges. Malt character is soft and supportive with a light crackery sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. Features a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any solvent-like harshness or astringency.
