Pannepot Reserva is an opulent Belgian Dark Strong Ale, elevated by extended maturation in French oak barrels. It presents a masterful synthesis of rich, bready-toasted malts and a unique, subtle roastiness reminiscent of a stout. The sensory experience is dominated by concentrated dark fruit notes of dried plums, figs, and raisins, woven together with elegant vanilla and fine woody tannins from the barriques. This flagship ale balances its high strength with a sophisticated vinous complexity and spicy yeast phenols, offering a lingering, contemplative finish that bridges the gap between a traditional monastery-style ale and a barrel-aged imperial stout.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to near-opaque dark brown; huge, dense, and persistent tan-colored head with exceptional lacing; slight haze present from yeast and barrel maturation.

Aroma. High intensity; complex layers of rich, bready-toasted malt, dark caramel, and a subtle hint of roasted cocoa. Pronounced esters of figs, dates, and black cherries are accented by peppery phenols and a distinct French oak character featuring vanilla and toasted wood. Alcohol is perfumy and well-integrated.

Taste. Initial impression is malty-rich and sweet, followed by deep flavors of caramelized sugar, toasted crust, and dark fruits. A subtle roasted grain character adds depth.
