The sensory profile is led by an intense, juicy burst of tropical fruit and citrus driven by a potent blend of Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy hops. Expect vivid notes of ripe mango and bright tangerine from the Mosaic and Citra, while Galaxy introduces a layer of resinous dankness and pine. This aromatic complexity is anchored by a neutral, crisp malt backbone that ensures a refreshing, clean finish. Though it drinks with the boldness of an IPA, its approachable bitterness and balanced structure remain true to its pale ale roots, offering a vibrant and highly aromatic drinking experience.
Appearance. Pale golden to light amber in color (6–8 SRM). Topped by a moderately large, off-white head with good retention and delicate lacing. Generally clear with a brilliant shimmer.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of mango, tangerine, and grapefruit citrus. Secondary notes of resinous pine and a light dankness are evident. Low neutral, grainy maltiness provides a subtle bready foundation. Clean fermentation profile with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-dominant, mirroring the aroma with flavors of ripe mango, citrus zest, and resin. Moderate to high hop bitterness is well-integrated and provides a crisp counterpoint to the low, neutral malt sweetness. Finishes medium-dry and clean with a lingering but smooth citrus and pine aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated; no astringency.
