This Triple IPA is an assertive sensory journey, showcasing Sierra Nevada’s mastery of whole-cone brewing. A potent 10.4% ABV carries an intense aromatic bouquet of grapefruit rind and tropical fruit, layered with elegant floral notes of rose and lilac. Hints of resinous cedar emerge from the "new-school" hop blend, providing a complex, woodsy depth. Despite its aggressive 100 IBU profile, the palate remains refined, balancing the massive hop charge with a lean, supportive malt backbone. It culminates in a signature dry, resinous finish that lingers, epitomizing the evolution of the modern, high-gravity Double IPA.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by citrus zest and tropical fruit. Distinct notes of floral rose and lilac are balanced by a deep, resinous cedar and pine character. Low, clean, neutral maltiness sits in the background, with a well-integrated, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Explosive hop flavors of grapefruit rind and resin lead into a complex floral and tropical mid-palate. Bitterness is very high but lacks harshness. Malt is supportive and clean with a light grainy character that quickly yields to a dry, lingering, and aggressively hoppy finish.
