Appearance. Pale gold (4–6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Topped by a massive, long-lasting, rocky white head that leaves intricate Belgian lacing as it slowly recedes.
Aroma. High intensity fruity esters of pear, green apple, and citrus zest. Moderate herbal and floral hop notes are present, complemented by a light peppery phenol character and a soft, grainy-sweet malt background. A faint nutty note is discernible as it warms.
Taste. Initial soft malt sweetness transitions into flavors of crisp pome fruit and lemon peel. Medium-low herbal hop bitterness and a peppery alcohol character balance the profile. The finish is remarkably dry and clean, with a lingering, spirited warmth and a faint spiciness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation that creates a sharp, prickly sensation. Noticeable alcohol warmth is smooth and well-integrated, lacking any harsh solvent qualities.
