This limited-edition American IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey defined by a lush, tropical intensity. The profile is driven by a heavy-handed use of Citra hops, which provide vivid notes of mandarin orange and citrus zest. These hop characteristics are further amplified by a specialized blend of tropical fruit juices, resulting in a saturated explosion of ripe mango and passionfruit on the nose and palate. A soft, hazy appearance hints at its smooth texture, while a lean malt base allows the hop-derived and fruit-driven flavors to dominate. The finish is crisp and refreshing, balancing fruit-forward sweetness with a firm, clean bitterness.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber in color (8-10 SRM) with a distinct hazy to opaque clarity. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity featuring prominent Citra hop characteristics of mandarin orange and lime, coupled with a dense, tropical mango bouquet from fruit juice additions. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the fruit, with a very clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is fruit-forward and juicy. Strong mango and mandarin flavors dominate, supported by a low, bready malt backbone. Bitterness is moderate to firm, providing enough structure to balance the fruit additions without becoming harsh. The finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering citrus and tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle. Alcohol presence provides a very light, integrated warmth, and there is no perceived astringency despite the high hop and fruit loading.
